One, two & three for BtB

As the TT season slowly starts to get underway, this weekend saw podium places for all the BtB riders that were in action!

Kicking off her season to a great start was Clare Campbell-Smith in the Farnborough & Camberly promoted Open 10 event on Saturday.  In this tight fought battle of the ladies which saw the top 4 positions covered by 22 seconds it was Clare that managed to cover the H10/8 course in 24:38 and nipping second place by only 15 seconds to Katie Crowe.

Stafford Road Club hosted their annual club Hilly 23 around the challenging Blithfield Reservoir circuit (as used on last years CTT Classic Series) and smashing her first win of the year was Sue Semple with a time of 1:01:29 and closely followed by Nina Critchley who set a course best time of 1:02:45 to take first and second in the ladies event.

Not to be out done, Ian Manders raised to the challenge of keeping the men’s side up for an outstanding third place in the same event and covered the course in a very respectable 55:49.

Look out for the next pre-race report on the teams website!
